Space Tracking and Navigation (STN)

Thoth’s Space Tracking and Navigation (STN) Division uses telecommunications assets in Canada and around the world to offer specialist space-tracking and communications services with near-Earth and interplanetary spacecraft. Thoth operates the Algonquin Radio Observatory (ARO) providing geodetic services and deep space network communications utilising the 46 m antenna. Thoth also provides ARO site access for educators and research users. New for 2008, ARO vacation accommodation at the Staff House is available to the public. 

The STN Division commenced operations in 2004 and now offers a full range of radar ranging, spacecraft navigation, launch-support and other services.
