Beaver Rovers

The Beaver rovers is a versatile mobile instrumentation platform that can perform remote investigations and analysis under telerobitic control or in fully autonomous modes. The light weight platform can carry a payload of up to 1 kg of instrumentation. The rover's motion systems are adaptable to all terrains driving over obstacles up to 10 cm. The Beaver's collision avoidance system navigates through obstructed environments using range finding technology to avoid objects.
